Senior Session in Studio

For my Portrait 3 class we have to do a senior project in studio. I am not a fan of the studio but I had a lot of fun and Jenelle also enjoyed it! I know I haven't been posting on here a lot but I have been busy with getting my portfolio together. Radio DJ David

This past week I made a trip to Columbus, Ohio to photograph a few old friends for my portfolio! This is David; he is a radio dj and I thought it would be a great opportunity to photograph him and he was willing to let me in the studio and have some fun! Here are some images that I gathered with my time there!

Portrait 2 - Portfolio

Portrait 2 was all on location portraits which I enjoy a lot! I think this has been my favorite class thus far in school and I really enjoyed it. Here are my 7 final images that created my portfolio for this class. Some of them are from previous project and may be in previous posts, but there are a few new ones! Thanks to all the models, I appreciate your time!

Environmental Portraits

So when I received this project at school I knew what I wanted to do! I had talked to Haylie about modeling with her horses before and she said she would love to. I went home and was able to photograph her with one of her many horses. Here are a few images, I hope you enjoy!

 

Last Stop

Andy has been a good friend for a while and was always willing to model for me and I finally got the chance to shoot him! He was such a great model and pulled the looks off great! The shoot went really well and here are a few images from the shoot! Enjoy!

Portrait 2 - Location Portraits

Portrait 4 - Weddings

I have been fairly busy as of late and haven't had much time to post some images up on my blog. So here are some images from my first few projects at school which include, bride in studio, bride in church, and bride on location. All of these were very challenging but also a great learning experience and a lot of fun!

So last night I took a break from writing a paper and decided to have a little fun and play a game of poker with myself. Hope you enjoy! (ignore the messy room, you can blame my roommate for that)

Portrait I=Ribbon!

So I received a ribbon on my picture of Danielle that I have posted in the blog Portrait I - Three for Show. Here is a picture of the actual ribbon on the image! Sorry about the quality of the image, it was taken on my 3.2 megapixel camera phone. I am proud of myself though. =]

Amanda

So I experimented with white on white and tried a new method and it turned out great! I was very pleased with the results and a shout out to Amanda for being such a great model! Here are a few the session, I plan on posting a few more at a later date.

Portrait I - Three for Show

I finally got everything recovered from my hard drive failure about a month ago! I can now update my blog again. Here are the three final images I submitted for my Portrait I class.

 

 

Lindsey

Well, we can say childhood memories came back and it made me feel kind of old! Lindsey and I grew up together and our families were good friends, so it was a good time to catch up. The project was due the same day as the photo shoot so I am thankful she was available and willing to help! I also decided to try some new stuff and a little more on the fashion side. She was willing to try it out with me and she was also a good model and we got some really good stuff out of the session. Thanks. Check it out! Let me know what you think!
