WESTWARD ADVENTURES | AUGUST 1st-14th 2011

As a gift, my grandparents took me out west to take pictures! Well I must say that it was amazing and crazy beautiful! Several places we traveled to were; Badlands, Devils Tower, Grand Tetons, Mt. Rushmore, Needles Highway, Salt Lake City, Wind Cave, Yellowstone, and many places in-between! My pictures don't do justice of what I really saw. I do hope that you enjoy the images here! AFTER DARK EDUCATION | CINCINNATI

This past week I had the opportunity to help with my second After Dark Education in my home state! It was so much fun and another great learning experience. I didn't shoot as much as the last event but I feel that I was still overwhelmed with knowledge. A big thanks go out to the AD Team and also the mentors for such an awesome week!

PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL

I woke up early this morning to find a lot of that white wintry snow everyone loves! (hint the sarcasm) So delighted myself in a PS tutorial from Lindsay Adler, who is an amazing fashion photographer. I was then able to try out this new make up technique on a recent image from my photo shoot with Courtnie C. Check out the rest of the images on my Flickr.

AFTER DARK EDUCATION | NEW ORLEANS

I had the chance to experience my first After Dark Education experience this past week in New Orleans. I had an amazing week at Afterdark New Orleans! It was great meeting so many amazing photographers! I want to thank Dave Junion, Dan Rowe, and Troy Schroeder for the great opportunity to help and be a part of a wonderful event. Thanks to all the mentor who were willing to share and teach to make this an awesome educational learning experience!

JUST FOR FUN!

As I was browsing through one of my former instructors blog, Elizabeth O'Neill Photography | Blogsite I came across an image that I was very interested in. I asked her how she had manipulated the image a few months back and never had the chance to try it on one of my images. I recently found some time to play around with the same concept and here is my result!

Trip to Jamaica

I recently had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Jamaica. We departed June 14th and returned June 24th. This was my first time out of the country and was very excited but also nervous at the same time. During our time there we did three different bible schools at three different school. The kids were amazing and were happy for us to be there and spend time with them. We also did a few other projects during our time there. We also were able to have a free day and go to Dunns River Falls and spend some time at the beach. It was a great experience and would love to go back and visit again someday! Here are some personal images that I took and brought home to share with everyone.
